The Jamaica national football team is controlled by the Jamaica Football Federation. Jamaica is typically one of the top ranked teams in CONCACAF and has won the Caribbean Cup six times, with their latest win being the 2014 Caribbean Cup when they beat Trinidad and Tobago in the finals. It is the only Caribbean nation to reach a CONCACAF Gold Cup final, losing to Mexico in 2015.
Jamaica qualified once for the FIFA World Cup, in 1998. It is, along with United States, Honduras and Costa Rica, one of the rare teams from the CONCACAF region to draw against Mexico in the Estadio Azteca in a World Cup qualifier match.
